Now What? Responding to Jesus’ Love
Jesus’ life was an example of perfect love and truth. His death was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. His resurrection was the victory that offers us eternal life. Now that you’ve heard the good news, the most important question remains: What will you do with Jesus?
The Call to Follow Jesus
Jesus didn’t just come to be a historical figure or a great teacher—He came to save you. His invitation is personal and life-changing:
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
No matter who you are or what you’ve done, Jesus offers you forgiveness, peace, and a new life. He stands with open arms, waiting for you to respond.
How Do I Accept Jesus?
Receiving Jesus as your Savior is a step of faith. The Bible gives us a clear path to salvation. It’s as easy as A,B,C.:
1. Accept the Fact that You Need Him – We all have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. The Bible says it this way: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
2. Believe in Jesus – Trust that His death and resurrection paid for your sins. The most famous Bible verse says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
3. Confess and Accept Him as Lord – Commit your life to Jesus and follow Him. The Bible simply states: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
A Simple Prayer of Salvation
If you’re ready to accept Jesus, you can pray this simple prayer from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I turn from my old life and ask You to come into my heart as my Savior and Lord. Help me to follow You from this day forward. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
